Larry Hall Edwards, 71, of Hawkinsville, Georgia, went home to be with his personal Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on January 16, 2016, in Winter Garden, Florida, after a long battle with Dementia. He was kindly cared for by his family and loving staff at Health Central Park in Winter Garden, FL. He was born in Hawkinsville, GA, on February 1, 1944, to Ella ‘Blanche' Hall Edwards and Charlie Newton Edwards, both of Hawkinsville, GA. Larry graduated from Hawkinsville High School in 1963 and worked at: Dunaway Brothers in Hawkinsville, in Avionics at Robins Air Force Base, and owned and operated Edwards' Grist Mill. He was mechanically-gifted and spent his leisure time in his workshop constructing, repairing, inventing, and refurbishing. Larry married Linda Sue Smith on February 28, 1965 at Blue Springs Baptist Church where he led R.A.'s. Through the years he taught Children's Sunday School at First Baptist Church in Cochran, was a Steward at Smyrna Methodist Church in Dooly County, and was a member of Limestone Baptist Church in Cochran. Larry and Linda moved to Orlando, Florida in April of 2015 to be near their Grandchildren. Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Chad Smith Edwards. He is survived by his wife, Linda Smith Edwards; his two daughters, Trina Edwards Zigan (Mike) and Ellen Edwards Bachelor (Rusty), and his Grandchildren Joey, Jacob, Josh, Kayla, Chloe and Grandbaby-to-be Charli; his brother Charlie ‘Wayne' Edwards (Esther); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be a graveside memorial service at Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 1:30p.m. Visitation will be held prior to the graveside service from 11a.m. to 1p.m. in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home in Hawkinsville, Ga. He will be deeply missed until that final reunion around the banquet table in Paradise.
