Latrelle Jackson Davis, of Gray and formerly of Macon, died November 6, 2011 after a lengthy illness.
Born November 2, 1026 in Jones County, she was the daughter of the late R. M. Bullington, Sr. and Mattie Roberts Bullington.She was an active member of Bellevue Baptist Church in Macon.Mrs. Davis worked 25+ years in the Children's Department of Belk-Mathews.A devoted wife, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Franklin Jackson of Gray and Eugene Davis of Macon.
She is survived by her children, Linda and Butch Hemperley of Peachtree City and Frankie and Beverly Jackson of Gray.Surviving "MaMa" are her grandchildren whom she dearly loved, Julie Tomberlin Gunnin and her husband, Chester of Newnan and Chad Jackson and his wife, Stacy of Gray and her great-grandchildren, Jackson and Warren Tutterow of Newnan; Ryan and Bailey Jackson of Gray; Carley Brock of Columbus.She is also survived by her brother, Robert M. (Bobby) Bullington and his wife, Eleanor of Fitzgerald and her sister, Geraldine Williams and her husband, Robert of Gray; several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at Bridges Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 8, from 5-7 p.m.Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9 in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Thomas officiating.Interment will follow at Gordon Cemetery on Highway 18.Flowers will be graciously accepted or donations may be made to Lynn Haven Nursing Home, Activities Department, 747 Monticello Highway, Gray, Ga.31032.
