Mrs. Lillie Mae Coe Strickland, 77, of Eastman, Ga., passed away October 6, 2021 at her residence.A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Cedar Rock Baptist Church Cemetery in Woodbury, Ga. with Rev. Dewayne Burney officiating.
Mrs. Strickland was a native ofWoodbury, Ga. and a member of the Baptist faith. She had worked previously in the textile mill for Opelika Manufacturing Company in Hawkinsville, Ga.She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Strickland; parents, John Ervin and Mary Emma Clay Coe; sons, Darren Wayne Thomas and Dale Marshall Thomas; grandson, Dale Russell Thomas; several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her son, Dennis Thomas of Hawkinsville, Ga.; brothers, Cecil (Gail) Coe of Mountain City, North Carolina, J. P. Coe of Woodbury, Ga.; grandchildren, Dustin (Brooke) Thomas, Leona (Christopher) Cape, Blake (Kelly) Thomas, Cody (Jessie) Thomas, Amber Thomas, Lynn Forsythe, Rusty Thomas; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
