Donna Lisa Hatcher Neal
Donna Lisa Hatcher Neal was born on December 8, 1965 in Bibb County, Georgia. Lisa left her earthly body on June 28, 2011 and is now in heaven with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Lisa was born in Bibb County, Georgia but Hawkinsville became her home during her early childhood. Lisa's parents are the late J.W. and Evelyn Twiggs Hatcher of Hawkinsville. Lisa was a 1984 graduate of Hawkinsville High School. She received her Associates of Business Administration Degree from Middle Georgia College in Cochran and her Bachelor's Degree from Valdosta State University. Lisa worked for 5 years with First Franklin Finance as a Lender; she worked with Leshner Corporation in Hawkinsville for 7 years as a Personnel Manager, 3 years with Lithonia Lighting in Cochran as a Human Resource Supervisor and lastly employed with the Pulaski County Board of Education at Little Children Growing for the last 4 years.
Lisa's life accomplishments are known to those who have benefitted from her numerous acts of kindness that she so lovingly shared. She always had a smile on her face and love in her heart for everyone who came into her life. Her faith in the Lord was a guiding light to Lisa and to all those around her as she so openly professed her faith in the Lord. She witnessed to many people in her life and prayed for those to find the same peace she had found many years ago in the Lord. Lisa was an avid gardener and an admirer of flowers and plants which is evident in the landscaping around her home of which she tended to for many hours for enjoyment. Lisa also was a huge lover of animals and she had many pets at her home of which she enjoyed, loved, and nurtured. Lisa was a member of Browndale Baptist Church in Hawkinsville where she served as a Sunday school teacher for four years. Her Church and Church family were held in high reverence by Lisa and she received many blessings from her Church and Church family.
Those left behind to cherish Lisa's memory are her husband of twenty years, Justin Kelly Neal of Hawkinsville; her precious daughter and the light of her life, Bridgette Amber Neal; her loving and devoted brothers, James Darrell Hatcher and William Todd Hatcher of Hawkinsville and her dear sister, Connie Cartmill of Oklahoma; nieces, Haylee Hatcher, Jessie Neal and Ashley Neal of Hawkinsville and Jamie Neal Loyd; nephews, Hayden Hatcher of Hawkinsville and Ryan Cartmill and Eric Cartmill of Oklahoma; father-in-law, Aubrey Neal of Milledgeville, sister-in-laws, Angela Broadnax Hatcher and Kim Neal of Hawkinsville and brother-in-laws, Mike Cartmill of Oklahoma, Jeff Neal and Wesley Neal of Hawkinsville.Lisa also leaves behind to carry on her memory and love, her sweet "TEAM LISA" friends.Lisa also leaves behind special family pet, Brandi Lynn who was a constant loving companion.She was predeceased by her parents, J. W. and Evelyn Hatcher and mother-in-law, Scottie Neal, all of Hawkinsville.
Pallbearers are Chuck Gordon, Randy Clemons, Mike Cartmill, Greg Entrekin, Nicholas Bovee, Luke Peavy, David "Pop" Burns and Ricky Sewell.
Honorary pallbearers are Wendy Walker Gordon, Bobbie King Clemons, Donna Foster Clark, Angela Mimbs, Glenda Jones, Lisa Taylor, Deborah Thompson McDaniel, Ann Griggs, Jerry Bembry and Geraldine Bembry.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2011 at Browndale Baptist Church in Hawkinsville with Reverend Kelly Pritchett and Reverend Tracy Mays officiating.Interment will follow at Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home Chapel in Hawkinsville on Thursday, June 30, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m.
