Lois Mckie

Mrs. McKie was a native of Ben Hill County and a member of Abbeville First Baptist Church. She was a retired Post Master for the City of Abbeville, Georgia. Lois was a member of the Eastern Star andthe Euzelian Sunday School Class. Mrs. McKie was also a member and past treasurer of the W.M.U. and member of the Rural Letter Carriers Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Oscar McKie.
Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl (Jimmy) Howard of Hawkinsville, Georgia and Karen (Tony) Portivent of Hawkinsville, Georgia; sister, Hazel (Jerry) Webb of Byron, Georgia; grandchildren, Clay McCall, Ramsey Howard, Joni Ross, Amy Green, Justin Portivent, Kylie Portivent, Megan Portivent and Logan Portivent; great-grandchildren, Seth Portivent, Micah Portivent, Ellie Portivent, Tyler McCall, Dusty McCall, McKie McCall, Ram Howard, Avery Howard, Izzy Ross, Brantley Ross, Haley Green, Gracie Green, Jade Green and Kodi Green. Loving caregivers, Willie Lou (Sister) Singletary, Beverly Dennard and Geraldine Bryant.
Visitation will be Saturday at the residence of Mrs. Lois McKie in Abbeville,Ga.. Clark Funeral Home Hawkinsville,Ga. in charge of arrangements.
