Lynne Harris Bennett

Mrs. Bennett was a native of Elkhart, Indiana and a member of the Westview Baptist Church.She retired from the Air Force Reserves having worked at several different Air Force Bases.Lynne was the secretary at Westview Baptist Church for several years and also the organist.She was the secretary for the Pulaski Bleckley Baptist Association. She had many other interests, as she was also involved with the Hawkinsville Opera House.Lynne loved music and especially her 3 cats.She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Eugene and Ruth Lillian Lynn Harris; husband, Paul R. Bennett; sister, Mary Evelyn Gangwer.
Survivors include 2 step-sons, Paul Anthony Bennett (Ileta) of Arizona, Christopher Patrick Bennett (Gina) of Edwardsburg, Michigan; brother, John Eugene Harris (Beverly) of Goshen, Indiana; sister, Martha Ann Harris of Jackson, Michigan; several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
