Margie Jean Todd Adkins, age 69 of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away on November 26, 2016 at Pinewood Manor Nursing Home in Hawkinsville. Funeral services for Mrs. Adkins will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 2p.m. in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Milton Thomas officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 28, 2016 at Clark Funeral Home from 6p.m. to 8p.m. Interment will be at Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens in Cochran, Georgia.
Margie was born on February 12, 1947 in Pulaski County and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mrs. Adkins worked as an adult and child care provider for many years.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Cody (Shayla) Adkins of Hawkinsville, Georgia and Anthony (Julia) Adkins of Winder, Georgia; daughter, Julie Katherine Adkins Grimaldi of Virginia; sisters, Effie Jean Lewis of Vienna, Georgia and Eugenia Hanks of Hawkinsville, Georgia. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
