Marie Lyles Harp, 84, of Cochran, Georgia passed away on Monday, February 18, 2013 at Woodstock Nursing Home in Woodstock, Georgia. Funeral services will be held at Broad Street Baptist Church in Hawkinsville, Georgia on February 20, 2013 at 10a.m. with Dr. Kelly Pritchett and Rev. Jeff Waters officiating. Visitation will be held from 6p.m. to 8p.m on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Clark Funeral Home. Burial will be at Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens in Bleckley County.
Mrs. Harp was a native of Bleckley County and a member of Broad Street Baptist Church in Hawkinsville, Georgia. She was retired from Oxford Manufacturing Company. Mrs. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Jackson Harp. She is survived by son, Marvin T. Harp of Canton, Georgia; daughter, Elaine Harp Roberson (Benny) of Canton, Georgia; sister, Mary Williams of Dexter, Georgia; grandchildren, Adam Roberson of Honolulu, Hawaii and Sarah McLaughlin (Daniel) of Canton, Georgia.
