Mr. Mark Anthony Forehand, 63, of Perry, Georgia died Monday, November 8, 2021 at his son's residence in Hawkinsville, Georgia.A graveside funeral service with military honors will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 12, 2021 in the Andersonville National Cemetery in Andersonville, Georgia with Rev. David Fisher and Rev. Eddie Braswell officiating.

Mr. Forehand was a native of Crisp County and a member of the Baptist faith.He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Mark was a volunteer with the Unadilla Fire Department and a judge for the Georgia Barbeque Association.He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Talmadge Forehand and a son, Phillip Anthony Forehand.

Survivors include his mother, Betty Jean Forehand of Americus, Ga.; son, Jeremy Derek Forehand of Hawkinsville, Ga.; daughter, Jennifer (Rusty) Yansom of Haynesville, Ga.; grandchild, Anna Yansom; sister, Lisa (Danny) Forehand Adkins of Americus, Ga.; brother, Mike Forehand of Cordele, Ga.; nieces and nephews, Hollie (Scott) Burgess, Jon Adkins and Hannah Adkins; great nephews, Walker Burgess and Blake Burgess.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
