Mrs. Martha Joann Tharpe Hairston, 80, of Hawkinsville, Ga., passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville. A Visitation will be held from 12:00 until 2:00pm prior to the memorial service held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 15, 2022 in the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Tharpe officiating.
Mrs. Hairston was a native of Macon Ga. and a member of Broad Street Baptist Church.Martha's occupation was being a mother to her family.She was preceded in death by her mother, Francis Durden; her son, Mike Entrekin; sister in law Margaret Tharpe and a nephew Chuck Tharpe.
Survivors include her husband, John Hairston of Hawkinsville; son, Shawn Hairston (Laura)of Hawkinsville;daughter, Theresa Quinn (Rocky) of Ringgold Ga.; brother, Jabo Tharpe of Hawkinsville; grandchildren, Roxann Quinn, Evan Quinn and Aubrie Hairston: and several Nieces , nephews and cousins.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
