Martha Louise Holmes Hattaway

Mrs. Martha Louise Holmes Hattaway, 88, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024 at her residence.  A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2024 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with visitation to begin from 1:00 until 1:50 p.m. before the service.  Dr. Jeff Waters will officiate.

Mrs. Hattaway was a native of Rutledge, Georgia and a member of Broad Street Baptist Church.  She was a homemaker.  Martha loved to cook, bake and go camping.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson and Ethelene Holmes; husband, Pryor A. “Dean” Hattaway and son, Mike Hattaway.

Survivors include her son, Greg (Molly) Hattaway of Hawkinsville, Georgia.; grandchildren, Phillip (Jessica) Hattaway of Augusta, Georgia, Kyle (Megan) Hattaway of League City, Texas, Matt (Ellie) Hattaway of Chattanooga, Tenn., Harley Hattaway of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Alex (Jamie) Southall of Grove City, Ohio, Trey Southall of Grove City, Ohio and 16 great-grandchildren.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
