Marthann King Bush

Marthann King Bush, a resident of Dothan, Alabama died Sunday evening February 4, 2024, with her loving daughter by her side, at her home. She was 91.  Graveside Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm Feb. 18, 2024 at Orange Hill Cemetery with Rev. Steve McKuhen officiating.
Marthann Bush was born and reared in Hawkinsville, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late James Erastus King and Audrey Marie Perdue King.  Mrs. Bush also lived in Fort Valley, GA, before moving to Dothan in 1996. She was a member of The Red Hat Society, Dothan Chapter and was of Baptist faith. Marthann was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Bush; a son, Tommy Gene Bowen; six brothers, J.E. King of Haines City, FL., Claude King of Americus, GA., Howard King, Billy King, Buddy King and Larry King all of Hawkinsville, GA.; and two sisters, Eloise King Rickerson of Hawkinsville, GA. and Bobbie Jean King Allen of Macon, GA.
Surviving relatives include her daughter, Bobbi Kim McHale, Midland City, AL; a son, Philip Authement, Columbus, GA.; a sister, Dorothy King Boyd (Bobby), Warner Robins, GA; four grandchildren, Casey Edward McHale (Shelby), Clarksville, TN, Amanda Dunn (Matt), Overland Park, KS., Audrey Marie Bowen, Overland Park, KS., Ashley Nichole Blackman of Paola, KS., April Smith, Columbus, GA; and Amber Mordic, Columbus, GA ; twelve great-grandchildren, Quincy June McHale, Lexi Dunn, Jayvan Dunn, Mia Cyka, Lily Goodlooe, Beckett Blackman, Leland Blackman, Watson Blackman, Monroe Blackman, Tanner King, Harrison Smith, Philip Mordic; one great-great grandson, Walt King; Numerous nieces, nephews, and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; her former husband and life-long friend, Bobby Lee Bowen and her Goddaughter, Angela Childs.
