Funeral Services for Mary Bloodworth will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at Pope City Baptist Church.Interment followed at Friendship Baptist Church cemetery.Rev. Danny Allen will be officiating the services which will be directed by Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga.

Mrs. Bloodworth died Sunday, May 3, 2009 at her residence.A native of Wilcox County and a member of Pope City Baptist Church, Mrs. Bloodworth was a homemaker.

Mrs. Bloodworth is preceded in death by her husband, J. T. Bloodworth. Survivors include eight children: Kenny Bloodworth (Joy), Wayne Bloodworth (Julie), Ronnie Bloodworth (Agnes), Cindy Walls (Billy), Marty Bloodworth (Kem), all of Pineview; Donna Stripling (Hobby) of Cordele, Chris Sercer (Jerry) of Rochelle and Celia McGlamory (Chuck) of Abbeville; 23 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; two brothers, Bobby Pope of Thomasville and Albert Pope of Rochelle; five sisters, Ola Nell Gibbs, Janie Anderson, Ruby Hannah and Willie May Wertanen, all of Rochelle and Mildred Christian of Winder. She will be greatly missed by her family.
