Mary Ellen Coody
June 13, 1924 — November 25, 2012
Mrs. Coody was a native ofTulsa, Oklahoma and a member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Eastman, Ga.She was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Baseand a member of NARFE.
Survivors include her husband, William B. Coody of Eastman, Ga.; son, Donald Ross Summers, (Joanne) of Perry, Ga.; daughters, Rosemary Wright, (Wilsie) of Hawkinsville, Ga. and Sandra Ellen White, (Wendel) of Homer Alaska; sisters, Lillian B. Williams, Lucille B. Johnson, both of Byron, Ga., Bettye RuthClay, (Sidney) of Ideal, Ga.; 4 grandchildren, Valerie (Jason) Little, Lauren (Richard) Hickman, Trent (Cheri) Wright and Logan Wright.; 3 great-grandchildren, Wesley Little, Matthew Hickman and Clair Little.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Sheffield, Davey Sheffield, Josh Sheffield, Randy Martin, Jesse Pruett and Rodney Harrell.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
