Mary Eunice Williams Fullington, age 91, died Wednesday, June 7, 2017at her home in Leesburg, Ga. She was born September 19, 1925 in Dooly County, Georgia to Tillet Sylvester Williams and Lou Ida McIntyre Williams.She lived most of her life in Dooly and Pulaski Counties until 2010 when she moved to Leesburg. Ga. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. (Lon) Fullington. She was employed by Hawkinsville Telephone Company later Com South Telecommunications in Hawkinsville, Ga for 36 years and retired as Chief Operator at the age of 82. She was a lifelong member of Double Branch Freewill Baptist Church, Unadilla, Ga.
She is survived by her son Tony (Cindy) Fullington of Unadilla, Ga. and her daughter Deborah (Clete) Fullington Sinyard of Leesburg, Ga. Her granddaughter Angie (B.I.) Thornton of Cordele , Ga., her grandson Justin (Alicia) Nelson of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and her granddaughter Tiffany Fullington Morris of Unadilla, Ga. Great grandsons, Pilcher and Turner Thornton of Cordele, Ga., Lawton Nelson of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, River Morris of Unadilla, Ga,and one great granddaughter, Eli Nelson of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3p.m. at Double Branch Freewill Baptist Church, 2960 Williams Road, Unadilla, Ga. on Friday June 9, 2017. Visitation will be held at Clark Funeral Home, 142 Commerce Street, Hawkinsville, Ga. on Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 6-8 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Alzheimer's Caregivers Outreach Center, 214 N. Jefferson Street, Albany, Ga. 31701.
