Mary Weldon Hood, 62, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Saturday at her residence.Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2009 in the Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Tim Lamb officiating.Burial will be in the Bowers Cemetery.

Mrs. Hood was a native of Irwin County, Georgia and a member of the Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church.She was a retired Pulaski County 911 Dispatcher.

Survivors include sons, Paul Weldon (Dianne) of Ludowici, Ga., Neil Weldon of Hawkinsville, Ga.; Mother, Mary Ruth Myers, Bonaire, Ga.; Sisters, Margaret Osborne (Marvin) of Harrison, Ga., Gale Ballard (Randy) of Bonaire, Ga.; Brothers, Charles Myers (Sue) of Byron, Ga., William E. Myers, Jr. and Dale Myers, both of Hawkinsville, Ga.; 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Myers, Steven Osborne, Jason Osborne, Jonah Weldon, Matthew Ballard, Eric Myers, Bruce Allison and Anthony Howard.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
