Mary Thompson Jones

Mrs. Mary Lafayette (Mary Faye) Thompson Jones, age 83, of Perry, Georgia, passed away Monday, February 5, 2024 at her residence. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2024 in Orange Hill Cemetery with Mr. Tubby Fowler officiating. Mrs. Jones was a native of Pulaski County, Georgia and attended Haynesville Baptist Church. Mary Faye was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen L. and Mary Elizabeth Todd Thompson; husband, Lt. Colonel William Wiley Jones (U. S. Army - Retired); brother, Stephen Thompson; sister, Crissy Jean Lenhard. Survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth Mays of Hawkinsville, Georgia, Renee Lombardo of Manassas, Virginia, Kristie Norris of Perry, Georgia; step-son, Billy Jones, Jr. of Arkansas; step-daughter, April Falcon of Oregon; sister, Lilli Ann Barrett of Perry, Georgia; 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
