Mary Ann Poole

July 7, 1931 — January 28, 2017

Mary Ann Lucas Poole, age 85 of Hawkinsville, Georgia died January 28, 2017 in the Heart of Georgia Hospice in Perry, Georgia. The family will hold a memorial service on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 3p.m. in the Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Sam Sellows and Rev. N.B. Goss officiating.
Mrs. Poole was native of Springfield, Missouri and a member of the Faith Baptist Church. She was a former manager of the Allied Dept. Store in Hawkinsville, Georgia and a member of the Eastern Star. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Georgia Peace Officers Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Poole and a daughter, Debra Jean Poole.
Survivers include three sons, Barney (Brenda) Poole of Forsyth, Georgia, Steven (Melissa) Poole of Hawkinsville, Georgia and Ben (Julie) Poole of Dallas, Georgia; daughters, Kathy Stapleton of Gordon, Georgia and Susan (Mickey) Good of Hawkinsville, Georgia; sister, Betty Jean Brake of Blue Rapids, Kansas; 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
