Mary Dillard Gray Sinyard

Mrs. Mary Dillard Gray Sinyard, 93, of Hawkinsville, Ga., passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022 in Memorial Health Meadows Hospital in Vidalia, Ga.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2023 at Browndale Baptist Church with visitation from 1 p.m. until 1:50 p.m. prior to the service.  Rev. Luke Watson, Rev. Bob Blackwell and Rev. Tracey Mays will officiate.  Burial will be in Browndale Cemetery.

Mrs. Sinyard was a native of Houston County, Ga. and a member of Browndale Baptist Church.  She was a homemaker and loved fishing and traveling.  Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Mack Dillard and Mildred Lucille Nation Gray; husband, Henry Walter Sinyard; son, Mack Sinyard; great grandson, Garrett Hunter; sister, Sharon Proctor and brothers, Jim Gray and Bill Gray.

Survivors include her sons, Jerry Sinyard of Hawkinsville, Ga., Ray Sinyard (Cathy) of Hawkinsville, Ga.; daughter, Joy Thomas (Shawn) of Hawkinsville, Ga.; daughter-in-law, Dolly Sinyard of Hawkinsville, Ga.; 5 grandchildren, Amy Hunter (Kent), Amanda Lancaster, Melissa Sinyard, Eric Sinyard (Wendy) and Daniel Carter (Ansley);7 great-grandchildren, Samantha Lancaster, Mary Catherine Lancaster, Drew Lancaster, Landon Hunter, Gavin Dortch, Braxton Carter and Rylan Carter.
