Mary Witherington, 89, of Pineview, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Wilbanks officiating.Interment will be at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Witherington was a native of Pulaski County and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, James Warren Witherington, Sr. of Pineview, Ga.; sons, James W. Witherington, Jr. (Martha) of Warner Robins, Ga., John M. Witherington (Jo Ann) of Conyers, Ga. and Gary W. Witherington (Jan) of Griffin, Ga. She is also survived by her daughter, Jan Moore (Larry) of Pineview, Ga. as well as twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitiation will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Clark Funeral Home in Hawkinsville, Georgia from 6p.m. to 8p.m. The family requests that donations be made to United Hospice of Cordele, 708 E 16th Ave,Cordele, GA 31015.
