Mrs. Maytha C. Liggett, 82 of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Sunday October 24, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday October 25, 2010 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. John Walker officiating.Burial will be in the Orange Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Liggett was a native of Blue Springs, Pulaski County Georgia.She was a member of the Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church.Mrs. Liggett was a wife and a homemaker.She was a VIP member of the Humane Society and was preceded in death by her husband Fred Liggett, Jr.
Survivors include her children, Corlyss (Cengiz) Okar of Lawrenceville, Georgia and Fred (Cathy) Liggett, III of Hawkinsville, Ga.5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Willie Frank Rawls, Lamar Whitehead, Cengiz Okar, Caleb Davis, Colby Davis, Beth Selph, Virginia Courson, Mary Gordon, Annie Floyd, Mary Joyce Battle and Tony Carruthers.
Honarary Pallbearers will be Dora Anderson, John Henry Anderson and Jimmie Lee Davis.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7p.m. Sunday October 24, 2010 at Clark Funeral Home.
Clark Funeral Home, Hawkinsville, Ga. in charge of arrangements.
