Mr. Stepen was born in St. Clair, Pennsylvania on September 19, 1923 and served for 26 years in the United States Marine Corps. He was a Master Gunnery Sergeant in the Marine Corps and was a member of the Catholic faith. Michael had lived in Hawkinsville for the past 10 years of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Thompson Stepen of Hawkinsville, Georgia; son, Carl Stepen of Michigan; step-son, Michael Thompson of Ft. Myers, Florida; daughter, Mary Ellen Stepen of Connecticut; step-daughter, Susan Huston of Elko, Georgia and 3 grandchildren.
