Mildred Bloodworth Selph, 94 of Rochelle, Ga. died Thursday December 2, 2010 in the Taylor Regional Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 2p.m. Saturday December 4, 2010 in the Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Jarrell and Donna Stripling officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery.Visitation will be from 1p.m. to 1:45p.m. before the service in the sanctuary of Friendship Baptist Church.
Mrs. Selph was a native of Wilcox County and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.She was a retired seamstress and was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Donald Selph, brothers, Otha Bloodworth, Paul Bloodworth, George Bloodworth and Tommy Bloodworth.
Survivors include her son, Donald (Nancy) Selph of Rochelle, Ga., three grandsons, David (Tammy) Selph of Pineview, Ga., Doug (Kim) Selph of Atlanta, Ga. and Dan (Linda) Selph of Rochelle, Ga. Six great-grandchildren, Ben Selph, Emily Selph, Martha Selph, Annabelle Selph, Derek Selph, Betty (Shane) Land, Niki (Jonathan) Coody and four great-great-grandchildren.Sister, Betty Mays and brothers, Zack Bloodworth, Jr. and Billy Bloodworth. Nephew and niece Ronnie and Agnes Bloodworth and other nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Marty Bloodworth, Wayne Bloodworth, Kenneth Bloodworth, Roger Bloodworth, Randy Bloodworth and Billy Bloodworth.
