Morris G. Giddens, age 73, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away November 8, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 4p.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2014 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Howard and Rev. Michael Greer officiating. Burial will be in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Giddens was a native of Dodge County and a member of the Eastman First Baptist Church. He had lived in Hawkinsville, Georgia since 1963. He was retired from Hollingsworth and Vose having worked in shipping and security. He was preceded in death by his son, Steve Giddens; brother, James Giddens and his parents Felton and Evvie Tripp Giddens. Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to Antioch Baptist Church, 449 Paul Scarborough Rd., Pineview, Georgia 31071 or the donor's favorite charity. The family wishes to thank Hospice Care Options of Eastman, Georgia for their loving care.
Visitation will be from 6p.m. to 8p.m. Monday, November 10, 2014 at Clark Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Mary Giddens of Hawkinsville, Georgia; brothers, Terry (Sue) Giddens of Warner Robins, Georgia and Gene Giddens of Eastman, Georgia; sister in law, Dianne Herring of Hawkinsville, Georgia; special niece, Makenna (Jesse) Buffington of Hawkinsville, Georgia and several other nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his favorite cat, Spooky.
