Myrtle Jenkins, 78, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Leisure Life Personal Care Home in Unadilla, Ga.Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 10 a. m. in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Callaway officiating.Burial will be in Haynesville Baptist Church Cemetery in Houston County, Ga.

Mrs. Jenkins was a native of Houston County, Ga. and a member of New Congregational Holiness Church. She was a homemaker.She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton D. Jenkins.

Survivors include her daughter, Doris Brannen (Allen Anderson), of Hawkinsville, Ga.; son., Horace (Angela) Jenkins of Hope, Kansas; grandchildren, Chris (Erin) Burch of Hawkinsville, Ga., Amanda Anderson of Hawkinsville, Ga., Brittnay Jenkins of Hope, Kansas, Alexander Marfise of Hope, Kansas, Kyle Marfise also of Hope, Kansas; great-grandchildren, Carl Burch and Davis Burch of Hawkinsville, Ga.; sisters, Margie Munday of Atlanta, Ga. and Dorothy Gray of Americus, Ga.; brother, Cleveland Johns of Warner Robins, Ga.

Pallbearers will be Lance Woods, John Burch, Joel Dykes, Chris Laidler, David Brown and Wayne Woods.

Visitation will be held Friday evening, August 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
