Mrs. Myrtle Rutledge, 73, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away at the Medical Center of Central Georgia on Friday, October 4, 2013. Funeral services for Mrs. Rutledge were held on Monday, October 7, 2013 with Rev. Billy Cox officiating. Burial was at Antioch Baptist Church in Abbeville, Georgia.
Mrs. Myrtle was a native of Coolidge, Georgia and of the Holiness Faith. She was a member of the Hartford Water Board and a retired Manager of Pizza Hut in Cordele, Georgia. Survivors include her son, Benny (Joanne) Willeby of Hawkinsville, Georgia; daughters, Virginia Sandlin of LaGrange, Georgia and Helen Perry of Cordele, Georgia; brothers, Jo Willeby of Florida, J.T. Willeby of Moultrie, Georgia and Tommy Willeby of Bainbridge, Georgia. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
