Nancey Paula Horton

Mrs. Nancey Paula Horton, 68, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at her residence.  A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 7, 2025 at Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Trent Dykes officiating.  Burial will be private in Orange Hill Cemetery.

Paula was a native of Hawkinsville, Georgia and a member of the Baptist faith.  She was a retired Pulaski County School teacher and also an artist.  She was a founding member of the River Rat Art Project.  Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Watson and Hazel Dowdy Jones and her nephew, Ivy Austin.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Mike Horton of Hawkinsville, Georgia; daughters, Miranda Minor (Craig), Michelle Horton (Mark Arrowsmith); sisters, Vickie Austin, Pat Pickett; 4 grandchildren, Maci (9), Samantha (8), Chase (15) and Callie (17).

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the River Rat Art Project, 110 South Dooley Street, Hawkinsville, Georgia 31036.
