Pastor Ned Holland Russ, 96, of Hawkinsville, Ga. passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019 at his residence.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at New Visions Ministries Church with Pastor Jeff Thomas, Bishop Tim Lamb, Pastor Richard Russ and Bishop Wesley Russ officiating.Burial will be in Bowers Cemetery in Bleckley County with Military Honors.
Pastor Russ was a native of Georgetown, South Carolina and a member of New Visions Ministries Church.He retired as a Pastor at 85 years old.Pastor Ned was a Veteran of the U. S. Army and a member of the V. F. W. Post 6077.He was preceded in death by his parents, Furman and Pauline Russ and 9 siblings.
Survivors include sons, Wesley Holland Russ of Beltsville, Maryland, Richard S. Russ of Coco, Florida, Ned B. Russ of Hawkinsville, Ga.; daughters, Deanna Carol of Freeport, Florida and Angela Paulletta (Tilton) of Georgetown, South Carolina.
