Nellie Faye Rhodes Markert

Mrs. Nellie Faye Rhodes Markert, age 95, of Hawkinsville, Ga. passed away Friday, August 5, 2022 at Kingsford Place in Hawkinsville. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Micah Emery, Cal Markert and April Gibson officiating, with a private family burial following the service at Orange Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Markert was a native of Pulaski County, Ga. and a member of Westview Baptist Church. She was a retired Robins Air Force Base Civilian. She was preceded in death by her parents; Timothy Breckenridge and Agnes Cook Rhodes; her husband, Charles Paul Markert Sr. brothers, Windell Rhodes and G. W. Rhodes; sisters, Maudel McKinney and Ruth Dawson. Survivors include her son, Charles Paul Markert Jr. (Annie Laura); daughter, Betty Ann Goss (Alvin); brother, Freddie Rhodes; sister, Opal R. Wilcox; Along with 5 grandchildren, Lisa M. Langford (Richard), Timothy Paul Markert, Amy G. Singletary (Frank), Cal Markert (Dona) and April M. Gibson (Tony) and 9 great-grandchildren.
