Nelson Darnell Hedden, age 84, of Hawkinsville, Ga. diedSunday, May 24, 2009 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville, Ga.Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Stewart Allen- Clark officiating.Burial will be in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Hedden was a native of Bradley County, Tennessee and a member of Babb Memorial IPHC.He was retired from Opelika Manufacturing Company and drove a Pulaski County School bus for 32 years.He was a Master Mason Member of Mt. Hope Lodge #9.Mr. Hedden was preceded in death by his wife, Lydia Deloris Hedden and granddaughter, Wendy Hedden.

Survivors include sons, Larry (Melissa) Hedden , Raymond (Mary) Hedden and Nelson Stevie (Sandy) Hedden, Sr. all of Hawkinsville, Ga., Don Hedden of Tennessee; six grandchildren, Heather Wilkins (Jeff), Heath Hedden, Nelson Stevie (Danielle) Hedden, Angie (Marland) McLeod, Dillon Hedden, April Fulford, Joey (Amy) Johnson.; nine great-grandchildren; Brothers and Sisters; Calvin Hedden of Warner Robins, Ga., Faye Tolleson of Locust Grove, Ga., Charles Hedden of Waterford, California, Shelby Jean McCommons of Milledgeville, Ga., Joy Babbs of Eastman, Ga., Jerry Hedden and Gary Hedden, both of Hawkinsville, Ga.

Pallbearers will be Skeet Pollock, Joey Johnson, Tony Portivent, Pat Nelson, Tom Grinstead, Skeet Hedden, James Head and Emmett Long, Jr.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
