Mr. Nicholas Cabero, age 85, of Hawkinsville, Ga., passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 at Serenity Place in Dublin, Ga.A private family service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2022 in the chapel of Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jack Varnell officiating.
Mr. Cabero was a native of Hawkinsville and a member of Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church.He was a retired Hawkinsville city manager.He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew George and Inez Horne Cabero.
Survivors include his wife Linda Cabero of Hawkinsville Ga.; son, Tony Cabero (Kathleen); daughters, Angela Woodard (Tony) and Holly Long (Keith); brother, Andrew Cabero; grandchildren, Mindy Curtis (Will), Nick Cabero, Brittni Booth (Andy), Michael Long, Thomas Woodard, and Kelli McKinney (Colton); great grandchildren, Addison Woodard, Camille Curtis, Baker Curtis, Paul Curtis and Ivy Woodard.
The family will be accepting visitors at 20 Kibbee Street, Hawkinsville, GA 31036.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to the First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 44 Merritt Street, Hawkinsville, GA 31036
