ORLENE HARRELL COBB

Funeral Services for Orlene Cobb, age 97, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Midway Baptist Church in Pulaski County with burial in Harrell Cemetery.She died Sunday, April 19, 2009 at Pineview Health Care Center, Pineview, Ga.She was born in Dodge County June 5, 1911.She was a member of Midway Baptist Church of Hawkinsville, Ga. where she was one of the founders of a Cradle Roll Program for the church and also served as Assistant Clerk for many years.Rev. Blake Westbrook and Rev. Kevin Morrison will officiate.

Mrs. Cobb was a homemaker and enjoyed working in her yard with her flowers and making quilts.She was the daughter of the late Willie Harrell and Mary Harrell Rowland.She was preceded in death by her husband, John Cobb, Daughter, Mary Freeman and grandson, Mark Jones; sisters, Jewel Thomas and Annie Lee Ross.

Mrs. Cobb is survived by son, Robert W. Cobb, Marietta, Ga.; daughters, Barbara (Ronald) Woodard and Faye (Emory) Jones of Hawkinsville, Ga., and Maude (Bill) Thornton, Eastman, Ga.; grandchildren, Mike (Tyran) Thornton of Lilburn, Ga., Randy (Corinne) Thornton, Smyrna, Ga., Tracy Woodard, Hawkinsville, Ga., Teresa (Woody) Woodruff, Mary Esther, Fla.; Leza (Bob) Witherington, Augusta, Ga., Jack (Judy) Freeman of Jacksonville, Fla., Dean Freeman, Savannah, Ga.,: great-grandchildren, Cydney & Hunter Thornton, Tristin Woodruff, Joel, Joseph, Edward and Estaban Freeman.She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be April 20, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Clark Funeral Home, Hawkinsville, Ga.
