Patsy Nunnally Bennett

Mrs. Patsy Nunnally Bennett, 90, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024 in Macon, Georgia.  A visitation will be on Wednesday,  September 25 at 10:00 a.m. at Clark Funeral Home in Hawkinsville followed by funeral services at 11 o’clock.  Burial will be at Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens with Dr. Don McClung officiating.

Patsy was born April 19, 1934 in Thomaston, Georgia.  She was preceded in death by her parents, John Nunnally and Nona Bryan Holloway and also step-father, Roy C. Holloway.   Patsy graduated from Robert E. Lee Institute in 1952 and Piedmont School of Nursing in Atlanta in 1955.  While working at Taylor Memorial  Hospital in Hawkinsville, she met Rouel Wayne Bennett, Sr. and were married on August 19, 1956.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hawkinsville for over 60 years.

Patsy is survived by her two daughters, Belinda Bennett, Cathy (Robin) Siegel and son, Wayne (Suzan) Bennett; two grandchildren, Josh (Jana) Siegel and Jonathan Siegel and one great-grandchild, Crosby Siegel.

The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Madison Heights at the Prado in Macon, for the wonderful care provided to our mother.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hawkinsville First Baptist Church, 155 Broad Street, Hawkinsville, GA 31036.
