RobertLee Bowen, 50, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Monday, September 28, 2009 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta.Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2009 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Dr. Kelly Pritchett and Rev.John Walker officiating.

Mr. Bowen was a native ofPulaski County, Ga. and a member of Broad Street Baptist Church.He was a mechanic.He was preceded in death by his father, George Lewis Bowen.

Survivors include his mother, Emma Gean Bowen of Hawkinsville, Ga.; Son, Shawn Bowen of Milan, Ga.; Brother, Mike Bowen of Hawkinsville, Ga.; Niece, Ashley Bowen and Nephew, Kelly Bowen, both of Hawkinsville, Ga.

Pallbearers will be Paul Black, J. H. Mays, Frank Parham, Nick Bovee, Kelly Neal and Ronald Hill.

Visitation will begin 1 hour before the service at Clark Funeral Home.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
