Robert Lewis Coomber, 78, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Wednesday, February 1, 2012 in the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, Ga.No services have been set at this time.
Mr. Coomber was a native of Locke, New York and a member of the First Baptist Church of Moravia, New York.He was a Veteran of the Korean War and a retired auto mechanic.Robert was a member of the New York Board of Racing and Waging, Moravia Trotting Pony Association and the U. S. Trotting Association.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Goodman Coomber of Locke, New York; daughter, Ev Renee Coomber of Barton, New York; sisters, Marilyn Wessell of West Hartland, New Hampshire and Joanne Powers of Watkins Glen, New York and a grandson, Richard Kenneth Coomber Avery of Barton, New York.
