Mr. Robert "Bob" Sanders, age 81, of Eastman, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 in Coliseum Northside Hospital in Macon, Ga.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2018 at Broad Street Baptist Church in Hawkinsville, Ga. with Dr. Kelly Pritchett and Rev. Blake Westbrook officiating.Burial will be in Robbins Cemetery in Dodge County, Ga.
Mr. Sanders was a native of Pulaski County, Ga. and a member of the Hartford Baptist Church.He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.Bob was a retired appliance technician.He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion.
Survivors include his sons, Wallace (Carol) Sanders of Jacksonville, Fla., Tony (Sandy) Sanders of St. Augustine, Fla., Terry (Karen) Sanders of Perry, Ga.; daughters, Faye (Robert) Owings of Hawkinsville, Ga., Monica (Ray) Britt of Eastman, Ga.; brothers, Lamar Sanders of Eastman, Ga., John Sanders of San Antonio, Texas; sisters, Faye Bentley of Hawkinsville, Ga., Louise Ricks of Eatonton, Ga.; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.
Flowers will be accepted but donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
