Robert Sikes

April 5, 1941 — January 4, 2015

Robert Sikes, age 73, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Pinewood Manor Nursing Home in Hawkinsville, Georgia. Private family services will be held for Mr. Sikes at a later date.
Robert was born in Macon, Georgia and lived most of his life in Hawkinsville. He worked at Opelika Manufacturing Company for many years as a mechanic. He was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed fishing and working on automobiles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Jessie Mae Sikes and sisters, Sylvia Shelton and Ann Thompson.
Survivors include his daughters, Lisa (James) Mays of Hawkinsville, Georgia and Leigh Ann (Rex) Milner of Hawkinsville, Georgia; grandchildren, James, Robby, Brandi, Katie and Michael. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
