Rodney "Scotty" Scott Dunaway

Mr. Rodney Scott Dunaway, age 60, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024 surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Grinstead, Mr. Robert Lancaster and Mr. Robert Owings officiating. A visitation will be held starting at 2:00 pm prior to the service. Graveside services will be private.

Family will meet at the residence of Rodney and Brenda Dunaway, 285 Sloan Road, Hawkinsville Ga. 31036.

Scotty was born on September 30, 1963 in Pulaski County and a member of Double Branch Freewill Baptist church. He was retired from Wescott Irrigation. Scotty loved farming, fishing, hunting and most of all, family and friend gatherings. He was preceded in death by a sister, Tonya Faye Dunaway; grandparents, Albert and Ernestine Dunaway and J. R. and Johnnie Colley Jennings.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lee Dunaway; parents, Rodney Clemons and Brenda Faye Dunaway; daughters, Ashly Nicole Dunaway, Melissa Katelyn Neeld and Madison Lee Dunaway; brother, Michael Kevin Dunaway; grandchildren, Elijah Drake Posey, Brody Wayne Knight and Ellie Drue Posey; Best friends, Dewana Statham, Wesley Stewart, Greg Rogers and Kim Hanna.
