Roger Donzell Knight

Mr. Roger Donzell Knight, age 85, of Hawkinsville, Georgia, passed away Monday, January 13, 2025 at Pinewood Manor in Hawkinsville, Georgia.  Funeral services will be held Friday Jan. 17, 2025 in Clark Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm with Rev. Pete Boyd officiating. A visitation will be held beginning at 1:00 prior to the service.  Burial will be in the Orphans Cemetery in Dodge County.

Roger was a native of Fitzgerald Ga. and a member of the Methodist Faith.  He was a 1958 graduate of Hawkinsville High School. He was a Navy Veteran having served aboard the USS Forrestal.  He retired from Robins Air Force Base after over 50 years as a Civil Engineer in HVAC Control Shop which he loved doing.  Roger loved the Georgia Bulldogs, playing snooker and spending time with family and his grands.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Carrie Knight Roland  and his sister Jamie Shirley.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Knight of Hawkinsville, Ga.; daughter; Amy Barron (John Spencer); sister, Charlene Roberts of Hawkinsville, Ga.; grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Barron and Jacob Knight Barron of Eastman, Ga.
