Ruby Lucille Youngblood

Mrs. Ruby Lucille Youngblood, 73, of Hawkinsville, Ga. passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville.  A Funeral service will be held at   2 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Clark funeral Home with Rev. Blake Westbrook officiating. Burial will be in the family plot at Orange Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm prior to the service and may also be contacted prior to the services at the Youngblood residence at 63 Buck Trail, Hawkinsville, Georgia 31036.

Mrs. Youngblood was a native of Hawkinsville, Georgia and a member of Broad Street Baptist Church.  She was a retired Book keeper for many businesses and farmers in the Pulaski County area.  She enjoyed her family and her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Lois Scarborough Shelton and her husband of 48 years, Kenneth Youngblood Sr.; her brother Archie Shelton and sisters, Mildred Darsey and Madge Coley.

Survivors include her son, Ken (Carmen) Youngblood of Cochran, Ga.; daughters, Kina (Craig) McBride of North Augusta, South Carolina and Lorie (Robert) Goff of Leesburg, Ga.; brother, Edwin (Shirley) Shelton of Hawkinsville, Ga.; sisters, Edith Castleberry of Hawkinsville, Ga., Lillian Snyder of Eutawville, South Carolina and Louise Shelton of Hawkinsville, Ga.; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and her special dog, Harley.
