Ruth M. Grinstead
May 22, 1932 — February 25, 2018
Mrs. Ruth was a native of Shiloh, Georgia and a member of the Hawkinsville First Baptist Church. She was a State of Georgia retired registered nurse and nurse practitioner. Mrs. Grinstead was a former member of the Lions Club. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Reatha Murphy; husband, Walter Davis Grinstead; son, Walter Davis "Davey" "Crockett" Grinstead and three sisters.
Survivors include her son, Danny (Cindy) Murphy of Phenix City, Alabama; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren; brother, Alton Murphy of Manchester, Georgia; special and dedicated friend, Kitty Coleman of Hawkinsville, Georgia; several nieces and nephews and former daughter-in-law, Felicia (Clay) Harrell of Dexter, Georgia.
