Sadie T. Whittaker, 84, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Thursday, September 17, 2009 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2009 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Hockofficiating.Burial will be in the Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla, Ga.

Mrs. Whittaker was a native of Georgia and a member of Browndale Baptist Church.She was a Veteran ofthe Women's Army Corp. in WWII and a homemaker.

Survivors include daughter; Janet Bryant (Lee) of Hawkinsville, Ga.; son, Jerry Whittaker of Hawkinsville.; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Paul Whittaker, Lee Bryant, Chris Bryant, Adam Bryant, Jerry Whittaker, Brian Whittaker, Christopher Lee Bryant, Jr. and Dusty Bryant.

Visitation will be Friday evening, September 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Clark Funeral Home chapel.
