Sammie Alton Calhoun, 52 of Pineview, Georgia died Sunday, March 2, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 3p.m. Wednesday at Clark Funeral Home with burial at Double Branch Cemetery with Rev. Stewart Allen-Clark officiating.
Mr. Calhoun was a native of Pulaski County and a member of the Double Branch Freewill Baptist Church. He was an electronics technician at Robins Air Force Base. He loved to go fishing and camping. He loved his mother, wife and two sons, Stephen and Bill. He was preceded in death by his father, Sammie Eugene Calhoun.
Survivors include his wife, Patty Calhoun of Pineview, Georgia; step-sons, Stephen Terry of Warner Robins, Georgia and Bill Terry of Rockledge, Georgia; mother, Sallie Calhoun of Hawkinsville, Georgia; sisters, Elain (Covie) Langford of Unadilla, Georgia and Brenda Hightower of Warner Robins, Georgia. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Piper and Nolan Terry.
Visitation will be from 6p.m. to 8p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Clark Funeral Home in Hawkinsville, Georgia.
