Mrs. Sarah Evelyn Dunagan, age 81, of Hawkinsville, Georgia died on June 23, 2017 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville, Georgia. Funeral services for Mrs. Dunagan will be held at 2p.m. on Sunday, June 25, 2017 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Soper officiating. Visitation will be held from 1p.m. to 1:50p.m. prior to the service at Clark Funeral Home. Burial will be private at Morningside Cemetery in Wilcox County.
Sarah was born in Wilcox County on September 17, 1935 to the late Henry and Penelope Sutton. She was a member of the Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church and retired from Robins Air Force Base. Mrs. Dunagan was a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy, the Red Hat Society,NARFE and the D.A.R.She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Grady Dunagan and a son, Michael David Dunagan.
Survivors include her son, Paul E. (Penny) Dunagan of Hawkinsville, Georgia; grandchild, Joni (Brent) Talbert of Perry, Georgia and two great grandchildren, Griffin and Mason Talbert.
The family requests that donations be made to the Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church, 45 Merritt Street, Hawkinsville, Georgia 31036.
