Beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Sarah Jean Wall, passed away on April 14, 2024 at the age of 92. Jean was born in Crawfordville, GA on July 31. 1931 to Frank and Emma Julia Taylor.
She was a member of the Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church, a homemaker, seamstress and enjoyed working outdoors.
"Nonnie", as she was known to her family and friends, was the heart of our home and family. She was a dedicated mother who treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She loved family gatherings and could often be found at the athletic events and activities of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nonnie not only celebrated the lives of her children and grandchildren but also their many friends who often adopted "Nonnie" as their second mother. She was an avid lover of the holidays and loved decorating for all seasons. She also loved her pets, especially her dalmatians.
Nonnie is survived by her children, Julia Bennett, Carlette (Tommy) Gibson, Scott (Nancy) Wall, Sarah Wall, John (Donna) Wall; and daughter-in-law Michelle Wall;. Grandchildren Marshall (Teresa) Wall, Laura (Carl) Sewell, Thomas (April) Gibson, Ti Gibson, Sandi (Michael) Hayes, Wesley (Cherie) Wall, Sarah Kate Wall, Parker Wall, Scott (Laurie) Obert-thorn, and Michael (Lisa) Obert-thorn; Great Grandchildren: Abbie, Caroline, Hudson, Ryan, Lucas, Maddie Grace, Walker, Emma Rose, Savannah, Graham, John Thomas, Sadie, Jenna, Emily, Collin, and Alex. She is also survived by her brother Frank (Karen) Taylor, Sister-in-law Anna Taylor, and many nieces and nephews. Nonnie was predeceased by her husband, Marshall D. Wall, daughter Marsha Jean Wall, son Niel Wall, and brother Carl Taylor.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday April 16, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Cemetery with Rev Jack Varnell and Rev. Dr. John Walker officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the
