Sharon H. Gilbert

Mrs. Gilbert was a native of Pulaski County, Ga. and a member of Broad Street Baptist Church.She was retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base.Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Holmes and Irene Jackson; stepfather, Nat Jackson; brother, Terry Vaughn; sister, Ann Heath; son, Kenneth Gilbert and daughter, Donna Helm.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Gilbert of Hawkinsville, Ga.; son, Dale (Darlene) Gilbert of Hawkinsville, Ga.; son-in-law, Butch Helm of Hawkinsville, Ga.; daughter-in-law, Heather Griffin of Warner Robins, Ga.; brothers, Frank Holmes (Harriete) of Marietta, Ga., Gary Holmes (Deanna) of Moorseville, North Carolina; sisters, Evelyne Vaughn of Orange Park, Florida, Helen (Harold) Peacock of Cochran, Ga., Judy (Gerald) Post of Enid, Oklahoma; grandchildren, David Gilbert, Christopher Proffitt, Matthew Proffitt, Jaclyn (Michael) King, T. J. (Sandy) Gilbert and Sydni Gilbert; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Gilbert, Taylor Gilbert, Landen Gilbert and McKayla Proffitt.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. before the service begins.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
