Steven John Griggs

Mr. Steven John Griggs, age 55, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Serenity Hospice in Dublin, Georgia.
Mr. Griggs was a native of Saginaw, Michigan and was Catholic by faith but was a member of the Browndale Baptist Church.He was an Air Force Veteran and a retired skilled tradesman.Steven was a coach for the Hawkinsville Recreation Department and was also a Boy Scout Troop Leader and volunteered with 4-H. He was preceded in death by his father, Norman John Griggs. No services will be held at this time.
Survivors include his mother Marjorie Griggs of Martin Co. Fla.; wife, Sylvia Ann Griggs of Hawkinsville, Ga.; son, Camren Griggs of Hawkinsville, Ga.; grandchildren, Angel, Kathryn and Cierra; a step-daughter, Tara Staples; a brother Mike Griggs of Jupiter Beach, Fla.; sisters, Jacqueline Pete Vetters of Fayetteville, North Carolina; nephews, Stefan Vetters and Andrew Vetters; Aunt, Brenda Mahoney of Bay City, Michigan; special cousin, Debby Griggs of Ludowici, Georgia and several brother and sister in law's.
