Sylvia Rheault Mercer

Mrs. Sylvia Rheault Mercer, age 82, of Unadilla, Georgia died in the early morning hours of Sunday, May 5, 2024 at Perry Hospital in Perry, Georgia. A funeral service will be held at 10am on Saturday, May 11, 2024 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Jeremy Singletary officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service. Burial will be private in the family plot at Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla, Georgia.

Sylvia was born on November 26, 1942 in Berlin, New Hampshire to Lucien and Jeannette Rheault. She was a 1960 graduate of North Miami High School in Miami, Florida. Mrs. Mercer was a member of the Christian faith. She enjoyed sewing, cross stitching and spending time with her family and grandchildren. While living in Texas she was employed with the McDonald’s corporate office. She also worked at Robins Air Force Base at the Air Force Reserve Command for several years.

She is survived by her husband, John Mercer; daughters, Brenda Biddle and Deborah Snyder; brother, Ronald Rheault; grandchildren, Steven Biddle, Bradley Biddle, Casey Biddle, Lauren Hill and Ridge Russell. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Lila Biddle, Austin Biddle, Alexis Biddle, Olivia Biddle, Ryan Biddle, Jace Biddle, Seth Biddle, Haley Biddle, Bradley Biddle, Jr., Casen Biddle, Trenten Biddle and Crissy Biddle.
