Thomas Howard Blount
May 15, 1933 — March 7, 2014
Mr. Blount was a native of Pulaski County and a member and deacon of the Blue Springs Baptist Church. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Agri-Business. Thomas was also a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Air Force.He was the self-employed owner of Blounts Warehouse and Gin. Thomas enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louie and Beulah Blount and a sister, Clara Blount Daniel.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Woods Blount of Hawkinsville, Georgia; son, Thomas H. (Lori) Blount, Jr. of Hawkinsville, Georgia; daughters, Kathy Blount Hill of Statesboro, Georgia and Pam Blount Horne of Americus, Georgia; sisters, Rachel Blount Meadows of Hawkinsville, Georgia, Peggy Blount Snyder of Tucker, Georgia, Corine Blount Bond of Decatur, Georgia and Patsy Blount Browning of Cordele, Georgia; grandchildren, Casey Hill Tomlinson, Candice Lynn Blount, John Thomas Blount and Taylor Grant Horne. She is also survived by one great grandchild, Zachary Kane Tomlinson.
