Thomas Albert Curry, 79, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Thursday, February 16, 2012 in Dooly County, Ga.Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, February 19, 2012 in the chapel of Clark Funeral with Dr. Kelly Pritchett,Rev. Freddie Rhodes and Rev. Robert Daughtry officiating.Burial will be private.
Mr. Curry was a native of Pulaski County, Ga. and a member of Antioch Baptist Church.He was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base.Albert was a member of the Pulaski Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Nelson Curry of Hawkinsville, Ga.; son, Thomas Charles (Deborah) Curry of Hawkinsville, Ga.; daughter, Anita Curry (Dennis White) of Hawkinsville, Ga.; sister, Joyce Wammock of Hawkinsville, Ga.; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren;step-children, Mary Myers Obenauf of Fernandina Beach, Fla., Jean Myers Ivis of Ormond Beach, Fla.
Visitation will be Sunday from 3 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. before the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Gideon Memorial Bible Program or the American Diabetes Association.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
